Austin já fez participação especiais em algumas séries, Hannah Montana como Derek, ICarly como Jake Krandale, Ruby And the Rockits como Jordan Gallagher, em 2010 fez Os Feiticeiros de Waverly Place como George, Zeke e Luther como Rutger Murdock e Jonas L.A. como Stone Stevens, Life Unexpected como Jones.
Fez também uma pequena participação em Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. em 2009 fez o filme Aliens in the Attic como Jake Pearson. Recentemente fez o filme Sharpay's Fabulous Adventures ao lado de Ashley Tisdale com quem já trabalhou em Aliens in the Attic. Atualmente está no ar como Wilke da serie Switched at Birth.
